Industrial Laundry Bonnyrigg

We offer a full-time permanent position in an industrial laundry in Bonnyrigg (13 km from Edinburgh city centre).
Working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Salary £ 9.80 per hour.
Convenient public transport from Edinburgh city centre.
12 week trial period. Permanent position.
Paid breaks. Experience not required.
Work 5 days a week (including weekends).
Sort articles before cleaning, separating them by fabric, color, cleaning technique or dirt content for best results.
Load articles into dry-cleaning machines or washers
Regulate machine processes when starting washers, driers and dry cleaners; turn levels and valves to control volume of additives, specific cycles and temperature
Sort and count articles as they are removed from dryers; hang, fold or wrap the articles according to requirements
Remove stains on fabrics though application of bleaching powders and steam sprays
Use a hand or machine marker to place identifying names or code numbers on dry cleaning or laundry
Utilize portable machines or neutralizer solutions to tend to stained articles, through pre-soaking, spot-cleaning, sterilizing, scrubbing and drying articles as needed
